‘’Today is Mother’s day, my son and you didn’t wished me yet since morning shine is getting old in its appearance. ‘’

A lovable mother asked her adorable son. She arranged the table of breakfast for his sole son and demanded in her passion from his only son to wish her with the precious gestures, salience commands her right after this statement ….

Here appears ……. A smart guy of a decent arranged looks, with a appealing height, very well dressed, blushed face, sharp eagle observed eyes with naughty accent……..He is trying to fit a tie to his neck to adjust his collar; he gracely smiled and made a impressive speech of his engraved feelings:

‘’All days are Mother’s day, my morning, my evening, my night….my sight has no limit to sound to design any time limit or price to conduct any frame of such importance……….’’

He lowers the gaze than quickly sprigged them up standing in front of his mother instead of mirror, while keep adjusting his tie….. At that moment as the mirror replaced in his mother’s eyes and he wonderfully keeps going on his impressive words:

‘’Every day is special in your presence, in your existence, every day is special and precious when you are with me, every day is a mother’s day. I can’t think, I imagine, I can’t dream a life of a despair or moment of night mare without you. You are MY WORLD, MY MOTHER; every day is a Mother’s day…….’’

Ahhhhh… he naughtily sighs and keeps going……. While giving glance to a mirror and then caught the sight of his mother again and continuation to his speech, his eye contact with her mother was naughtily very sound and sourceful, passionate in his expression:

‘’My world is splendid garden of roses in the womb of heavens when my time, my moments advanced with your presence, with your divine love, with your essence of beauty. You are MY WHOLE WORLD, MY MOTHER……… You teach my senses of very senses firstly to be acquainted to be guided, to be obedient to yours, your love is the divine essence of mine, I am apparently different separate being though this body, of my existence, all in all essence of yours……… All days are Mother’s day……You are MY WORLD MY MOTHER ……..’’

She smiled beautifully, her presence her face was glowing of her inner emotions of motherly instinct her glomming eyes honored with the essence of grace given her by divine source and by the rare respect in practice by her son, she happily blinks her eyes though shining like twinkle stars and still smiled with graceful salience; as she given the proper opportunity to her son to finish where he started …….

And he continues certainly in same motion, still juggling with tie, in same polite gesture, in more delicate way out, where making his expression more impressionistic:

‘’You are the only person I know when take first breath, I have taken the second because you wished, you cared, you dared, you allowed and you grasped me, wrapped me in your warm arms, in your presence, my presence is honored of the special existence of being recognized as a crown of creations……. All days are mother’s day ….. You are MY WORLD MY MOTHER………’’

His mother glooms more with sense of pride this time, laughed on his son’s gestures not yet tie up and adjusted the collar, she certainly approached in seconds and lets this stuff be done by her graced hands as she always do.

She gazed him with essence of honor and with little cackling coached him to tie up, as she always do from last many years and still the successful son can do impossible hard things very easily by his gifted skills easily and possibly and even can climb the highest of mountain out of his confidence and ambitious nature but he didn’t yet seek to handle his own neck’s tie as perhaps he never want to learn it so that his mom always pamperly do for him.

‘Hey mom…… I was just little near to be done that… He pretendedly remarked…….’’

His mother gazed him ironically and suggested ‘’ Hmmm …. I have seen my son how much expert you are handling your own tie…….’’

He laughed irresistibly and trapped of his little weakness but in front of his mother his weakness is also nothing but a fun because he is so natural and open and so lovably harmonized by his gracious mother. He resounds and rebound the same words of honor to her mother:

‘’Hey Mom, You are the best mom ever, and you the greatest of all moms’ the rest of world ever know…… You are MY WORLD MY MOTHER’’

His mother tied up the tie and adjusted it well as she always do and patted him with sense of honor and sign her to have his breakfast as he always spend much time over it and rest of time spend to scroll the newspaper ….. She said:

‘’ My dear you this is not about my worth to be stated, this is just to wish a mother for a special day …….’’

As she wanted to continue her statement the son immediately interrupted and speaks in his sustained accent:

‘’ Every day is a special day when I wake up and see your morning smile, you are sky for me, you are my land, you are my honor, you are respect, you are my inspiration, you are my motivation, my courage to obtain to sustain, you are my solace, the serenity of life, the core essence the adversity of all hidden passions, you are my myth to idealize life, you are my doctrine to equalize my actions, you are my religion to follow, you are my sun shine, You are MY WORLD MY MOTHER…….. I couldn’t be imagine to breathe without you, I couldn’t think to take step ahead, you are my soul groomer, my teacher, my purpose….. You are MY WORLD MY MOTHER……..’’

He sat down while keeping the tender hands of his mother and still continues:

‘’ I have realized so many times my imbalanced foot even now I am young but always the advice of yours; prayers of yours are the path of redemption for me, the preference of yours is my first option all the way in life, the preservence I have is all your given the practices I have all your given, the conduct I have is all your given, the positive attitude I have is all your given ………. You are MY WORLD MY MOTHER……..’’

His mother smiled and sign to begin his breakfast to finish it before leaving but he is so emotionally attached to make his speech be delivered to this very day and his words could sound that depth which he really mean. He wanted to express all his passionate sentiments today which could rarely be expressed and this life could provide such chance to enhance them or cash them in front of our loved ones…… he said further:

‘’ Your instinct is harmlessly secured, you the precious gift of Nature to me that couldn’t be thanked in simple words, you are my sound reality the rest all mortal, and my relationship with you is the divine essence of Providence. You are my eyes, my sight when I am in darkness, you are my light whenever I need, and you are source of breathing, whenever I am in darkness you are my way to follow…….… MY WORLD is charming, alluring, magical, magnetic, phenomenal truth……My World is all about you, it surrounds you, it’s around you MY MOTHER…….. You are MY WHOLE WORLD MY MOTHER…….. All days are mother’s day, every day is Mother’s day in our lives, in our culture, in our lives, we don’t believe only a day celebration for your presence, every day is my beginning is you, my day’s end upon you…. I can’t be the part of the culture where a society celebrates a day and rest the mother deserves the old house…… NO, Not at all ……. You are MY WHOLE WORLD MY MOTHER…….. All days are mother’s day, every day is Mother’s day ’’

‘’ My son you are so elaborative today in your expression ……. Alright I know my son adores me a lot more than I think to be………. Your emotions are deep I know I don’t cost but priceless in your heart…….  ‘’

She wanted to express her honorable feelings in that due course but his son does not want to lose this momentum of time, this very opportunity to render her unexpressed gestures ever, that could have the words of clothes today, he feels himself lucky over this chance, he thought his lot is sound and graving that his enriched engraved emotions today enlightened to the external version that’s always preserved in heart……

He grasped the newspaper, but today not much interested in news because his mind, his soul and his emotions are so expressive in front of his the precious being The Mother, he speaks to himself how well defined my mom is, she knows how she worth precious in my heart ………..He again sounds aloud:

‘’ Mother, you are m sole amiable, admirable source that could harmonized my life so easily, sometimes I may get hyper in front of view but you never did, you always care that tears from my eyes are like killing spirit to you……. Mom you always peep into my heart through yours how could so easily you know what I require, your presence is my highest most earning in my life …….. All days are mother’s day; every day is Mother’s day …… You are MY WHOLE WORLD MY MOTHER……..’’

He finished the breakfast by taking two to three sips of juice and get ready to leave, his mum gives him daily routine looks, he always love to have the insistence of, in her assistance till to his car he leaves the main door and approached to car, drive it smartly and speaks to himself,

‘’Whatever I do, will never be enough and couldn’t be enough for my mother as her given deeds to me are uncalculated ……..’’

He smiled gracefully and gratefully and sense of calmness prevail in his whole body and soul, his inner self thanked to his Lord Almighty; the Omni-eminent and he freely approached to his day waiting out for his business deals……. He thought in himself:

‘’ Mum will definitely enjoy the gift in her room for this occasion that could never be missed at any cost …………..’’

At home his mother get back to room to adjust few things and realized the beautiful bunch of flowers, a wonderful wrapped gift and an amazingly bravo greeting card that says not the debate their but few words that derive tears of happiness in her eyes :

‘’ Mamma, I love you….. You are equally my mum and dad ….. You are MY WHOLE WORLD MY MOTHER…….. You remember well this phrase which I use to speak first time when I was three years old………… My World My Mother ’’

A Short dialogue story ….. I have depicted the character of son to deliver the speech of the importance of grace of mother because daughters left their mothers one day and the other woman ( daughters in law ) being positioning couldn’t be daughter in same phase…………….

But sons remain with the presence from the first day to end or till the time they can be …… So this speech is to provide the evidence of the importance that cannot be denied so take care of your mothers, love them, adores them in the same essence they did when we were subject to a measurement of few inches.

The return of mother’s love, their essence, their emotions, cannot be done till the rest of time or world’s existence. Mother is the precious most priceless gift of nature that couldn’t be equalizing any other precious subjective or objective reality of life…………

Some desires are like bubbles they prevail in mind or heart and they flew away so easily and human control over them is just like nothing but to be victim of them badly. Some desires are sand they can’t stay they keep burning and poring, some are like water a transparent water never ever grasp in hands never stay still never hold any where, never stay longer ………….

Few important desires of humans are definite to fulfill because then life of human just become an empty box that could be the just a coffin for a dead body not a surviving or living place for breathing creature. In such situations when desires may killed by the circumstances in deadly way that crushed human emotions so harshly that human memory or sentiments system may collapsed and human may consider the darker aspects the owing ones fit for him.

But in such situation the inner world may effective of such damage not the outer essence of nature because all the outer course the command of times stay at their own terms and conditions they been never be harmonized by the inner aspects of human desires infact humans should make their desires to obey the outer essence of nature of times, epoch and era…………..

Desires are keen and mostly interlinked with the emotions and sentiments, so the grooming of positive desires always grow the ideology and the growing idea of projects with passage of time and this is the essentiality for the human world. Keen desires are the one that should be fulfilled because they are vital for ageing. With the age of human they convert with the seasons and they adopt the changings with wheel of time which is must more important because man can’t me still like stone if human be the stone than no use of the emotions or desires with the stone ……………

Infact desires are like dreams of open eyes of conscience of human, the soul has image in shape in the mirror of inspirational desires, the motivational, expressionistic and impressionistic senses. They can be the best in sense of development for human work and they can be worst if they could be on the unestimated track that could be out of benefits.

Desires can be lead to the way of the success or can destroy one for extra expected character from the life that couldn’t be in one’s fate. The equilibrium of the tested desires is the most worthy that could never harm one’s expectations or way of actions, and actually such desires are the always the level of scaling for one’s character’s building and successful life ahead.

Little desires of sweet little kids are the most charming when they just wish to have a little toy to play and during playing with such toys they build the stories…. The craft man ship or creativity begins from that when a child start to web or knit strange ill-logical fantasies in their mind and in their little hearts for mature people and to their maturity such fantasies and fanatic but they perhaps forgot that in their childhood the prevailed the some to some extend ………….

Desires are the best land where mind gets so relaxed, such fun land or land of self ecstasy are the most cultivated for the self inner development. Desires must be balanced in shape of pragmatism, in shape of comparison with the reality and truth. Desires should be acquainted with the phase and frame of practice and exercise of building the desire into reality.

Desiring for impossible is human psychological fit of achieving limitless and beyond boundary where as pragmatism is out of it. Human vision, action of practice and sustaining quality of desiring the objects or Supremes, of success or of any of the keen longings they are good if they are guide for the life to be on the road of Divine support and for the better achievements that could advance human in this world and here after……….

Desires are good if they make life more colorful and realistic in the stage of maturity………….. They are sound if they would be achieved and fulfilled with the practical reality and they are sound enough to be fit in the frame of reality not just in the image of vision ………….

Despite of the fundamental realities, there are sound realities which are mostly unseen but they can strongly sense and emotionally connected with human basic spectrum. Inspite of the truth about this universe and scientific revelations, yet there are so many grounds of research and awareness being left.

The phenomenon truth and reality of humans are Nature; it is unseen force and very strong to be followed. Each and every living being born and breath over Nature and the natural instinct of every living being is the fundamental material of the practices, actions and reactions.

Commonly, it is known that humans are the more sane mammals among other animals because of the wisdom and intellectuality blessed. But instead of this ranking quality human is just a mere breathing creature, unless human peep into the depth of moral and purpose of his breathing science. Off the topic declining the subject human is a creature known yet unknown because of hidden covers, traits and psycho-barriers.

Apparently, usually there are lots of breeds, generations spangled up. Nations after nations converted and arrested themselves as living identity among the several races. Lataif  E Sitta (“the six subtleties” singular: latifa) are psychospiritual “organs” or, sometimes, faculties of sensory and suprasensory perception in Sufi psychology. They are thought to be parts of the self in a similar manner to the way glands and organs are part of the body. Drawing from the Qur’an, many Sufis distinguish Nafs, Qalb, Sirr, Ruh, Khafi, and Akhfa as the six lataif.

Among Sufis development involves awakening spiritual centers of perception that lie dormant in every person. The help of a guide is considered necessary to help activate them in a certain order. Each center is associated with a particular color, a general area of the body, and often with a particular prophet. Activation of all these “centers” is part of the inner methodology of the Sufi way or “Work”. Purification of the elementary passionate nature (tazkiyat an-nafs), cleansing the spiritual heart (tazkiyat al-qalb), becoming a receptacle of divine love (ishq), illumination of the spirit (tajjali ar-ruh), emptying egoic drives (taqliyyat as-sirr) and remembering the divine attributes, often through repetition of the names of God, (dhikr) are a process by which the dervish is said to reach a certain type of “completion” in the opening of the last two faculties, khafi and akhfa.

According to Shaikh Ahmed Sirhindi, humans are made of ten Lata’if or components of creation. Five of them pertain to Alam-e-Amr (the divine world) and the remaining five pertain to Alam-e-Khalq (Created world). The five lata’if of Alam-e-Amr are Qalb, Ruh, Sirr, Khafi and Akhfa. The five lata’if of Alam-e-Khalq are Nafs, Soil (solid), Water (liquid), Air (gas) and Fire (energy).

However there are seven lata’if in most of the sufi orders. The last four (corresponding to earth, water, air and fire) are collectively called lataif qalbia, referring to the physical human body (qalib), also referred to as Sultan al-Azkar in many sufi orders.

Latifat-an-Nafsi

According to some, this latifa is located slightly below the navel, and is yellow, for others, it is between the eyebrows and is blue.

The word nafs is usually translated as self or psyche. Its etymology is rooted in “breath” (similar to Biblical or Kabbalistic nefesh) and is common to virtually all archaic psychologies where the act of breathing was connected with life, animating otherwise lifeless object. In this respect, ancient notions of “Atman” in Hinduism (cf. German noun “Atem”, breath, respiration) or Greek “pneuma” (as well as Latin “spiritus”) -all equate the basic visible process of breathing with energizing principle that confers existence to an individual human being. Some Sufis consider under the term “Nafs” the entirety of psychological processes, encompassing whole mental, emotional and volitional life; however, the majority of Quranic-based Sufis are of the opinion that Nafs is a “lower”, egotistical and passionate human nature which, along with Tab (literally, physical nature), comprises vegetative and animal aspects of human life. Ego may be assumed as an equivalent for Nafs in modern psychology. The central aim of the Sufi path is transformation of Nafs (technical term is “Tazkiya-I-Nafs”‘ or “purgation of the soul’“) from its deplorable state of ego-centredness through various psycho-spiritual stages to the purity and submission to the will of God. Although the majority of the Sufi orders have adopted convenient 7 maqams (maqams are permanent stages on the voyage towards spiritual transformation), and some still operate with 3 stages, the picture is clear: the Sufi’s journey begins with Nafs-e-Ammara (commanding soul), Nafs-e-lawwama (self-accusing soul), and ends in Nafs-e-Mutma’inna (satisfied soul) -although some Sufis’s final stage is, in their technical vocabulary, Nafs-I-Safiya wa Kamila (soul restful and perfected in God’s presence). In essence, this is almost identical to Christian paradigm of “vita purgativa” and various stages the spiritual aspirant traverses in the journey towards God.

Latifat-al-Qalbi

According to some, this latifa is located in the left of Chest and is yellow, for others it is red. In it man witnesses his deeds. By awakening it man also gets the knowledge of the realm of Jins.

The word Qalb, stands for heart. In Sufi terminology, this spiritual heart (not to be confused with the blood pumping organ) is again variously described. For some, it is the seat of beatific vision. Others consider it the gate of Ishq or Divine love. Yet, for the majority, it is the battleground of two warring armies: those of Nafs and Ruh or spirit. Here, one again encounters terminological confusion: for the Sufis influenced by Neoplatonism, a “higher” part of Nafs is equated to the Aql or intellect (called Nafs-I-Natiqa) or “rational soul” and is the central active agent in spiritual battle: Ruh or spirit, notwithstanding its name, is rather passive in this stage. In short, cleansing of the Qalb or heart is a necessary spiritual discipline for travellers on the Sufi path. The term for this process is Tazkiah-I-Qalb and the aim is the erasure of everything that stands in the way of purifying God’s love or Ishq.

Often people take their heart’s word (inner feeling) as truthful. If the hearts were indeed truthful, then why are not all the people of the heart united? Qalb of the common folk is in a sleeping or unconscious state, and does not possess any awareness or correct understanding. This heart can err in judgement due to the dominance of the Self and Khannas (the Whisperer), or due to the person’s own simple-mindedness. Placing trust in a sleeping (or unconscious) heart is foolish. When the Name Allah does vibrate in the heart, an awareness of Right and Wrong, and understanding follows. It is then called Qalb-e Salim (the sound Heart). Then the prominence of the meditation by Qalb changes its direction towards God; it is called Qalb-e Minib (the repentant Heart). This heart can prevent a person from mischief, but it can not make a right judgement. When the theophanies (Tajalliyat) of God begin to fall on the Heart, it is called Qalb-eshahid(the witnessing Heart).

A leading Indian artist, Geeta Vadhera, has titled her 37th exhibition of paintings as Qalb Qudrat – At the Heart of Nature. Qalb and Nafs form the “Rooh-e-haivani” (Animal Soul). This part of the soul has the record of every activity of life. It is also termed as Joviya (Confluence).

Latifat-ar-Ruhi

According to some, this latifa is located in the right side of the chest and is red, for others it is green. After its activation the human gets acquainted with Alam-e-Aaraf (the place where man resides after death).

This is on the right side of the chest. This is awakened and illuminated by the meditation and one-pointed concentration on it. Once it becomes illuminated, a vibration similar to the heartbeat is felt on the right side of the chest. Then the Name of God, Ya Allah is matched with the vibrating pulse. The meditation of the soul is done in this way. This is advancement in rank and status and is better than the Qalb. It is able to travel to the realm of the souls (the station of the Archangel Gabriel). Anger and rage are attached to it that burn and turn into majesty.

Ruh or spirit is the second contender in the battle for human life. Again, opinions on Ruh differ among Sufis. Some deem it coeternal with God; others consider it a created entity. Be that as it may, Ruh is the plateau of consensus for the majority of Sufis, especially the early ones (before 11th/12th century C.E.). For those Sufis with Gnostic leanings (which can be found in Bektashi or Mevlevi orders), Ruh is a soul-spark, immortal entity and transegoic “true self”, similar to the Christian concepts of “synteresis” or “Imago Dei”, or Vedantist notion of “jiva”, as well as Tibetan Buddhist “shes-pa”, principle of consciousness and Taoist “shen” or spirit. But, the majority of the Sufis would consider this an unnecessarily extravagant speculation and would stick to the more orthodox notion of dormant spiritual faculty that needs to be worked upon by constant vigil and prayer in order to achieve the Tajliyya-I-Ruh, or Illumination of the spirit. Ironically, this spiritual faculty is frequently referred to in terms one encounters in connection with Nafs- “blind” life force or life current that needs to be purified by strict religious observances in order to achieve illumination.

Latifat-as-Sirri

Sirr is located in the solar plexus and is associated with the color white. It records the orders of Allah for the individual in similitude to that which is originally present in Loh-e-mehfooz (Preserved Scripturum). After its activation, human being gets acquainted with Aalam-e-Misal (The Allegorical realm – Reflection of knowledge of the preserved Scripturum.) This center is associated with consciousness.

This is also awakened and illuminated by the meditation and one-pointed concentration on it with the Name of God, Ya Hayy, Ya Qayyum. The dream state or by spiritual separation from the physical body “transcendental meditation” it can journey to the realm of the secrets.

Sirr, literally means “the secret”. Emptying of the Sirr (Taqliyya-I-Sirr) is basically focusing on God’s names and attributes in perpetual remembrance or Dhikr, hence diverting one’s attention from the mundane aspects of human life and fixing it on the spiritual realm. The “emptying” signifies negation and obliteration of ego-centred human propensities.

Sirr and Rooh form “Rooh-e-Insani (Human soul) or Ayan. This part of the soul is inscribed with commands characterizing the life. It is also termed as Ayan. When a human being gets acquainted with it, he can witness the record and scheme of “all that exists”, written on loh-e-mahfooz.

Latifat-al-Khafi

According to some, it is located in the middle of the forehead (between the eyes or third eye position) and is black, to others blue. It’s the equivalent of Kitab-e-Marqoom (the written book).

According to others this is to the right of the centre of the chest. It too is taught the Name of God Ya Wahid by meditation. It is green in colour and it can reach the realm of unification. The term Khafi means mysterious, arcane or Latent Subtlety. It represents intuition.

Latifat-al-Akhfa

The term Akhfa or ikhfa means most arcane, deeply mysterious, or obscure, subtlety. Its location is deep inside the brain or on center-top of the head. The color of this center, according to some, is green, to others, violet. It’s the Nuqta-e-wahida (point of unity) in every human where the Tajalliat (beatific visions) of Allah are directly revealed. It contains information about the hidden knowledge of the universe. By entering into this point, the human being enters the system of the universe and laws governing the universe and he understands the meaning of “for you, We (Allah) have revealed whatever is in the earth and the heavens “. This center is associated with deep perception.

According to some this is situated at the centre of the chest. It is awakened by meditating on the Name of God, Ya Ahad. It is purple in colour and it too, is connected to that veil in the realm of unification behind which is the throne of God.^[6]

The last center or subtlety is “accessible only to those who have developed the others, and belongs to the real sage.” (see “The Sufis” by Idries Shah).

Akhfa and khafa form “Rooh-e-azam” (the great soul), also called sabita. It is a bright ring of light in which all the information pertaining to the unseen and seen cosmos is inscribed. The Attributes of God that have been transferred to the existents and have become parts of the mechanism of the universe are collectively known as the Incumbent Knowledge (Ilm-e-wajib). Knowledge of the Incumbent means knowledge that has been transferred to the existents, that is, it refers to those Attributes of God with which existents enjoy affinity and correlation. The Knowledge of the Incumbent is also known as the Knowledge of the Pen (Ilm-e-Qalum).

First Descent is that state when God exhibited the program present in His Mind as He Willed. The creative formulae of the cosmos are the secrets of the First Descent. Why did God opt to create the universe and what is the Will of God, which He intends to accomplish? Reflection of all these things is found in the Great Soul; The Firmly Affixed Inscription. One side of Great Soul is the Obscure Subtlety (akhfa) and the other side is the Latent Subtlety (khafi) Great Soul is the storehouse of eleven thousand beatific visions of God. The person who attains communion with these two subtleties can observe these visions. These two subtleties of akhfa and khafi are found in every human being irrespective of who he is, what he is, or his station in life.

“Great Soul”, “Human Soul”, and “Animal Soul” are actually levels of functioning of the same soul and are not three different souls. These three components are like three rings of light infused in one another and are collectively called the soul, the indivisible entity, the Lord’s edict, or simply the man. Man gets acquainted with them one by one by Muraqaba ( Sufi Meditation), Dhikr (Remembrance of God) and purification of one’s psyche/life from negative thinking patterns (fear, depression), negative emotions (hate, contempt, anger, lust) and negative practices (hurting others psychologically or physically). Loving God and loving/helping every human being irrespective of his race, religion, or nationality, and without consideration for any possible reward, is the key to ascension according to Sufis.
